Hear ye, hear ye, brave Goreans
It’s time to get together for a big Gorean party, with games, adventures and trophies to be won. So come and get ready. On October 13, 2023 and during a full week-end, a great event will take place, bringing together all people of good will.
The important thing is to have a great, festive weekend free of drama and anger. This event will take place on several lands simultaneously, with games taking place on several lands. For example, it will be possible to hold an archery tournament on several lands, with the final table on another land. In the same vein, a race against time or a duel will be organized, with participants having to cross several lands with tests in the middle. For the moment, we have 4 Lands or groups of Lands, and that seems sufficient.
At the end of the weekend, there’ll be a big party with prizes for the winners and a DJ dance party.
I should point out, however, that the number of places in each game will be limited. To ensure that everyone – players and organizers alike – has a good time, the games have to be fast-paced. So, depending on the game, a limited number of places will be defined (races, tournaments). Registration will be open, and places in the games will be given to those who apply first. Only the quest will be open to everyone. (Except Quest and Interland Race : no limits)
It should also be pointed out that this must be a “no dramas” weekend. Any drama started will result in the ejection of those involved in the drama.

I. RACES
GAME 1
- Inter Land Race
A. Date – Saturday, October 14

The start will be with our friends, the Gretuks, and the finish will be on the Jungle’s lands. The race will pass through Siba, Ki Kara. Since max number of sims is 4, the finish will be on a central land in Jungle’s’ lands. The race will be run individually against the clock and participants can run several times and keep the best time. An automatic monitor will record the times. Participants will need to wear a HUD. The order in lands must be respected. To jump from land to land, a teleporter will be found on each land included in race. In each land, you will have to respect a circuit defined by gates. A missing gate disqualify the run. During the race, participants will have to do some tasks or games.
Tasks could be : answers to simple questions, bow skills. As Please, respect the game and people working on it : so no cheat, no dramas.
At the end of the game, the three best times will give us a podium with a ceremony and prize-giving on Sunday. The three winners will be notified to come and receive their prizes at the closing ceremony.
People needed during race – For the race, people do the run alone and nobody is needed. One person by land is needed for tasks or games.

- The Swim Race:
The swim race will be in the Jungles – host will be Petra (petea.topaz).

- The Canoe Race:
The Canoe race will be also be in the Jungles. Starting at Korat Trading Post. Host and organizer: Petra.

- Tharlarion Racing
Hosted by Mother Luq at her Ki Kara stables and race tracks. Participants will need HUD and food (supplied by Mother Luq on site).

D. Competitors – 6-8 Max
Time – To be decided. Note from Mother Luq: does not matter which day, write one day into the list if you want it just once…. all tharl races must be at the same time and around the same time to get the stats and write it down.

GAME 5
II. 2. The Quest:
A. Date – Friday, October 13 to Saturday, October 14
B. Length – Two Days
C. SL Time Begin – SLT 11:00 AM (Friday, October 13)
D. SL Time End – SLT 11:00 PM (Saturday, October 14)
E. Competitors – No Limit
In the quest: Clues will be found on all the specified lands. Gretuks, Ki Kara, all Jungle lands, Siba.
This is a fast-paced, puzzle-based quest. The principle is quite simple: you’ll have to find a set of words that will fit into a code phrase, a phrase that will be given to you at the start. The aim of the quest is to reconstruct the code phrase by placing the words you’ve found in the holes in the phrase.
The various words to be found will be placed in objects, or will have to be requested from a person present on the Land. Requests to people must be made through a Role Player game lasting at least 15 minutes, with all subjects accepted.
At the end of this time, the person involved in the RP will decide whether or not to give the keyword (But they are all kinds, so no worry). The objects containing the words will be placed by the Lands owners. So there’s no point in looking for an object that belongs to me. Finally, some items may be found in protected camps. So you may have to fight, trick or trade to get a keyword.
Quest rules with phrase code and riddles will be distributed Friday to all groups on Friday, so participants will have 2 days to find all the clues. Participants may have to role play to find the clues and locate or obtain some of the objects.

The first person to find the whole phrase wins. Of course, if a participant also finds the author of the phrase, he or she will become the sole winner. Ties will be broken by time. The time-stamped message will prevail. One last thing to know: the riddles are listed, but not necessarily in order. When a participant considers have found the whole clues and the phrase code, he would have to send me, in a notecard, the clues, the phrase code, the lands where he found clues (words), people he met to win the clues, and of course RP done. The reception time will be indicated in my logs.
At end, we will have only 1 winner. This winner will be contacted on Sunday for the prize-giving ceremony
Date: Begin Friday evening and run through Saturday, October 14.
GAME 6
III. The Role Play Competition:
The concept of this game is as follows: We can see that the combat mode has taken precedence over the roleplay mode. Participants will be asked to create a roleplay, which will be presented in front of a jury. The subject will be drawn by an innocent hand and given to the team. And team will perform a roleplay related to the subject. The roleplay will be performed by a duo or trio. This roleplay will be judged by a panel of people (ENs with strong Gor and roleplay experience – Mother Luq, Felicity Cornet, Mimi of Ikerei, Tammi Wildness, KirstenMaebh). These people will give scores (from 0 to 4) on the following points – Introduction, Plot, Humor, Possibility of a sequel. A good RP will be funny, but realistic too The best note will give us the team winner.
Conclusion. The points will be added up to determine the winners. In the event of a tie, a 5-round spar will be held to settle the tie, with one person from each team taking part.
Team will have 10mn to prepare the RP.

NATURAL COMBAT
“Natural Combat” is honor system based combat in mouselook, without the aid of gadgets, proximity devices and maps. Thus, participants agree not to use radar, proximity devices (such as “Secret Agent”) mini-maps, maps, “camming”, turning off alpha channel, or the use of devices that prevent weapons strike.
Time keeping will be responsibility of the individuals participating.
DO NOT begin shooting until designated times.
DO NOT continue shooting after designated times
You can begin each from any place in the Jungles of Schendi or in a sim adjacent and enter the Jungles of Schendi at the appropriate time.
NO-NO’S
No zooming
No Mini-maps
No radars
No turning off alphas

No bladed weapons (use a bow)
No hit boxes
No AOs that displace avatars
No leashing of avatars to one another in teams

DO hunt for and take a captive, using good capture RP.

GAME 8 (Bow Tournament)
This is an open tournament. We prefer limit number of places and the number of competitors is 20 people maximum. If we do not have enough competitors, the max will be put to 16 people maximum. The competition will take place on several lands. Non competitors may observe from a safe place. In OOC Mode, the fighters will be in Arena Mode
Competitors will fight in Arena mode. The Judge will ask competitors if they are ready and will call on the competitors to start fighting – no shots to be fired prior to this. The Judge’s decision will be final in all disputed matters. The judge’s decision is definitive. A Mod can be called if something seems wrong. But please, stay fair play.
Only a bow is allowed. No other weapons like darts are allowed
The inscription will begin 1 week before the tournament. Please, do not be disappointed to not be in list of competitors. We do 2 tournaments (Bow and Melee) to have a maximum of people. All inscriptions have to be sent to Alone Shadow (aloneinshadow.resident) in her IM chat. Time message will define people who will play in tournament (First come first served)
