Sadly many Goreans have passed away. There are a few scatttered memorials but with all the changes in Second life Gor, many memorials are gone. We are making Memorial at Port Falworth for all Goreans who passed away.
The names of the Goreans who passed away will be on that memorial
We are certain there are more names that should be on The Gorean Memorial. So if you know any please comment on this article and forward to us the name of the Goreans that should be honored in this way.
We invite you to visit The Gorean Memorial at Port Falworth. Please keep in mind that the memorial path to the memorial from the dock and the memorial itself are no combat zones.
This memorial does not replace any other memorials.

((would be nice if LL would have a ‘discounted’ option for sims that are just ‘memorials.’ I mean ‘really’ – this is just a community thing that should be recognized.
BTW – just a quick Google check: The IRS has as an ‘exemption’ for cemeteries – so the federal government recognizes cemeteries as something that should not be burdened paying for honoring our ancestors. [ see here https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-tege/eotopicj80.pdf
And in California – where LL resides – the state also gives cemeteries a tax exemption [https://www.boe.ca.gov/proptaxes/cemetery_exemption.htm]
So – I only now write this so if anyone has a contact with a LL that maybe they could pass this on and get a special place for memorial sims.
